We hate cancer and that’s why we’ve partnered with the American Childhood Cancer Organization to help stand up to cancer! In honor of #StandUpToCancerDay, we wanted to share some of the #ShareYourStory experiences we have received throughout our campaign. Cancer sucks and every man, woman and child deserve a fighting chance to beat it and live a healthy, fulfilling life! We’re so proud to be donating 20% of the proceeds of select products to ACCO to help in their mission. Learn more about our partnership and how you can help here.
“Diagnosed on 10-19-12 with t-cell lymphoma and after what felt like a life time, he finished up his last round/dose on 2-26-15. In that almost 2½ years or 858 day time span, he was admitted 14 times, had 19 lumbar puncture/spinal taps, and 22 blood transfusion! My son went through hell and it was the worst thing I’ve ever had to go though, watching him suffer through his treatment but I couldn’t be more proud of my son and how strong he is and was!” – Daniel O.
“Tori was diagnosed 8/29/14 with HR B cell ALL with MLL-R gene at 7 months old. One year of treatment down a lot more to go but this little girl is STRONG! We love you baby girl.” – KiMike B.
“Madeline was first diagnosed with plural pulmonary blastoma on her 2nd birthday, after 12 rounds of chemo, she was clear for 5 months. It came back. She has had chemo and radiation this time. On August 18th, she came to the hospital to start the process of a stem cell transplant. Well, a lot of things went wrong with her little body and she had been in the picu for going on 3weeks fighting for her life. She is a fighter, we are just praying she is strong enough to keep up the fight. Thank you for letting me share her story.” – Barbara M.
“Would love the scar cream foot cream and bruise relief for my son. He was diagnosed with t-cell ALL in 2012. When he got his port put in, it got infected and now he has a huge scar. On top of all the other scars on him. His skin is extremely sensitive. Tegaderms completely tear up his skin. Some of these would definitely help and his birthday is Tuesday Sept 8. acco has really helped us with a lot of things. Just hearing and connecting with other parents and learning new things. Absolutely love acco.” – Leslie K.
“Our daughter Mya was born with a germ cell tumor, she had it removed at 3 weeks and we found it was malignant at 4 weeks. We waited to do chemotherapy to see how effective surgery was. When she was 3.5 months we decided to proceed with chemotherapy. She had her last day on 8-24-15!! Lots of follow up scans but her doctors are confident that her cancer is gone!” – Anna M.
