In May 2016 we headed south to the beautiful city of San Diego, California for the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) cycle event. NPF is a non-profit organization with a mission to drive efforts to cure psoriatic disease and improve the lives of those affected.
Despite mother nature gifting us with a light drizzle in the morning, there was a big group of excited cyclists ready to hit the pavement. Some were experienced riders while others were beginners, but regardless of their experience level, they all came together to help raise funds for a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
We had a great time cheering on the cyclists and learning about their stories. Some were there because they were directly affected by the autoimmune disease and others were there to support a loved one. It was beautiful to see everyone coming together as a community spreading awareness and working towards finding a cure.
