Ever since disaster struck Houston in the form of Hurricane Harvey, volunteers, donations and support has been pouring into Texas. At TriDerma, we were humbled to take part in the relief efforts. Our team at TriDerma partnered with Meathead Movers, the California student athlete moving company, to show our support to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. We donated over 50 cases of items, including baby products, pain cream and other multiuse products. At TriDerma, our skincare products are all natural and botanical based, and help heal a wide variety of skin irritations and problems. Following the hurricane, we can only imagine the need for those who lost prescriptions, necessary creams and other daily comfort items. Meathead Movers collected our donations and delivered them to people seeking assistance at Lighthouse Church in Houston.
In partnership with U.S. Storage Solutions, Meathead Movers took the initiative of collecting donations throughout the Central and Southern California regions and transporting the items at no cost to hurricane victims in Houston. Donation items asked for included socks, toiletries, hygiene products and baby items.
The best part? In total, Meathead Movers delivered more than 40,000 pounds of new, donated goods! We are so grateful to be among so many generous companies and individuals and it is our hope that these donations can help lift the spirits of Texans and provide some relief in a time of uncertainty, heartache and loss. Our hearts go out to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. We here at TriDerma feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to extend a hand to those in need, thanks to Meathead Movers.
